If I ever doubt does that mean the faith isn't real? if I still struggle with certain sins, if I didn't share the gospel as much as I know I should, if I've at times went back to sin and stopped following the Lord (backslid?) am I still saved? I think of the prodigal son, I'm asking how can I have confidence in my salvation?
